Mobile Recording

I do location recording for live concerts, auditions, or other special projects that you might be working on.

Room Acoustics Analysis and Graphing

I can create a custom frequency response graph of your room or studio.  These graphs reveal frequency peaks and dips that are present in all rooms.  Most small rooms have large peaks and dips (as much as 30dB) in the lower frequency bands (70-120hz).  The graphs can also be helpful when selecting and placing acoustic treatments.  It may not be your speakers that are causing your mixing issues.   It may be your room.

Custom Impulse Response Creation

It is possible to create impulse responses of rooms, speakers, amps, microphones, reverb units, and other effects.  These impulses can then be used with software to create realistic and interesting effects that simulate the original acoustic space or gear.  

Room Treatment Consulting

Proper room treatment can drastically improve your listening and recording experience.  Many times people spend thousands on pro-level equipment and neglect to treat their listening, mixing, or recording spaces.  You may not be getting the most out of your gear if your room is distorting what you hear.  All rooms can be improved by adding the correct acoustic treatments.
